Circus

Lee and I took Anderson to the Circus last night and had a good time. It was a little too long for Anderson (3+ hrs plus it started at 7:30) so we didn't stay for the whole thing but it was a good time and we really enjoyed some one on one with him.

When we got there, he spotted these HUGE balloons and just had to have an orange one.

He was really proud of that balloon...

Until the show started and he saw all of these glowing in the dark.

Getting stickers from the clowns. He actually really like them.

Clowns noses. Anderson would have nothing to do with this.

Need a Good cry?

And I mean that, so don't continue reading this blog unless you are prepared.

www.laylagrace.org
This story has stolen my heart. I shared it with a few of you on Facebook b/c I want you to go to facebook and become a fan of Ruffle Butts. If you do this, they will donate $1 to Layla and her family. Please go do this!

This story has grabbed my heart for so many reasons. But one thing is that I am just in awe of this little girl's parents and their amazing faith in our God in heaven. They give him all the glory for her life however short it is and recognize the true gift they have in Layla.

So, read on. If you dare.

We're having a lazy day. Anderson isn't feeling well and I am still recovering so here we lay at 11am, still in pjs (all of us!), and not really worrying about what comes next!

as you can see, it knocked the sillies right out of her and she is really not doing well after the incident.

Siblings

Anderson lately has really been loving Adri. It is so precious. Talk about melting a moms heart. The other day, I was laying Adri down for a nap and he says, "wait mommy, wait. I want to tell Boo (thats what he calls her) night night." So he meets me in the hall reaches up to kiss her and says "night Boo, i love you." This recent attention from Anderson couldn't make Adri any happier. It absolutely thrills her to get attention from him which makes this all the more precious. This past weekend we were at Lee's grandparent's house and Adri was walking from person to person (mostly just to get the over zealous praise from her adoring fans). She was hestating to walk to the next person and when Anderson saw this, he stepped in and held out his arms to her. She lit up like no other and drunken cowboy walked right over to him. He grabbed her and said "good job boo!" She had a grin from ear to ear. I have seriously never seen her so happy. So maybe you had to be there, but it was the cutest thing ever. I hope that they become great friends as they grow up. I love to see Anderson look after Adri and I love to see her look up to him.

These aren't from the same day, but since that day, they have done this quite a bit.

Drunk cowboy walk.

Blessed

Lee and I have been so blessed with some great friends. I don't really miss living in Wichita, or at least our lifestyle there, but if I can say one good thing about it, it is that we made some of the greatest friends. Friends that I truly and dearly miss. Tonight, one of those families came for a visit and it was a blast! Heather and I met at a garage sale in our neighborhood of all places. They lived down the street from us and we were at a neighbor's sale. We were both pregnant and had little boys and when we started talking realized that we were due within a week of one another and our boys were 2 weeks apart. It was just a friendship meant to be. Our boys are great friends (one of Anderson's only male friends) and all of us adults enjoy eachother as couples as well. Here are a few cute shots of the boys playing. I sadly didn't get any pics of Adri and Logan, but honestly, Brendan and Anderson kind of stole the show tonight.

Bath Time and Play doh madness. Yes, I let the colors mix!!

This picture pretty much somes up the night.

Adri was pooped after all the action. Here she is chillin out which is a very rare occassion around the Leinwetter household.

Seriously!

Got this in an email and instead of forwarding it on, thought it would make a fun blog post. Some of these really made me laugh.

A lot of truisms here….

1. I think part of a best friend's job should be to immediately clear your computer history if you die.

2. Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you're wrong.

3. I totally take back all those times I didn't want to nap when I was younger.

4. There is great need for a sarcasm font.

5. How the hell are you supposed to fold a fitted sheet?

6. Was learning cursive really necessary?

7. Map Quest really needs to start their directions on #5. I'm pretty sure I know how to get out of my neighborhood.

8. Obituaries would be a lot more interesting if they told you how the person died.

9. I can't remember the last time I wasn't at least kind of tired.

10. Bad decisions make good stories.

11. You never know when it will strike, but there comes a moment at work when you know you just aren't going to do anything productive for the rest of the day.

12. Can we all just agree to ignore whatever comes after Blue Ray? I don't want to have to restart my collection...again.

13. I'm always slightly terrified when I exit out of Word and it asks me if I want to save any changes to my ten-page letter that I swear I did not make any changes to.

14. "Do not machine wash or tumble dry" means I will never wash this -- ever.

15. I hate when I just miss a call by the last ring (Hello? Hello? Darn it!), but when I immediately call back, it rings nine times and goes to voice mail. What'd you do after I didn't answer? Drop the phone and run away?

16. I hate leaving my house confident and looking good and then not seeing anyone of importance the entire day. What a waste.

17. I keep some people's phone numbers in my phone just so I know not to answer when they call.

18. I think the freezer deserves a light as well.

19. I disagree with Kay Jewelers. I would bet on any given Friday or Saturday night more kisses begin with Miller Lites than Kay.

Our little ham

since I am about to ruin all you Bachelor lovers day in the next post, here is a video of our crazy girl playing with her food.

hate to break the news...

so word on the street is that Jake chooses Vienna in the end. BLECK!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't stand her. I don't know what it is, but I am not a fan. Here's what I've herad...

Ally leaves the show next episode. No rose ceremony b/c she chooses to leave.

Gia gets dumped the next round and he chooses Vienna over Tenley in the end. They do not get engaged and I hear it doesn't work out. Well, I could have told him that! Poor Jake. He did such a great job being genuine and sincere. I really wish he would have found what he wanted and all of us could have witnessed it.

I also hear Tenley is the next Bachelorette. I could handle that. She's a cutie.

Here they are. GAG!
