Dorky parents

Please excuse the pure and utter dorkiness of my two parents in the video posted below. But aren't I cute???? Lots of love, ~Anderson

Rollover Video

Monday, July 23, 2007

No pictures today, but Anderson did sleep 8 hours straight last night!!! It was nice. He is also rolling over and laughing a lot. Its been a lot of fun coming up with different ways to make him laugh. I am sure if you were a fly on the wall in our house, you would get a good laugh at Lee and me entertaining Anderson. Oh well! He continues to be a happy little guy and changes everyday.

Please keep me in your prayers as I resigned from my 1st grade teaching position today. It was really hard to do. I will miss working at that school. I am praying really hard that a part time teaching position will become available for me so that I can continue to teach on a smaller level next year. I am definitely not ready to give it up completely yet. Thanks for thinking of me. I will keep you posted.

Happy Baby, Sad Baby

Anderson has he cutest little pouty face!!

Lee's Flowers

Here are some pictures that Lee took of the flowers in the yard. He planted the sunflowers this sring and then as they started to grow he mentioned that they "might be the mammoth sized ones." Hmmm?? Anyway, even though they are huge, they are actually pretty cool. The rose is the only one he got so far this year so hopefully there will be more next year.

Can you guess who this is?

So I was going through some pictures of Lee when he was a baby and found this picture of him at 2 and a half months. Um, can you say scary!!!!!!!! If I didn't know better, I would have guessed it was Anderson himslef. Now you know why when Anderson was born I looked at Lee and said "Oh my gosh, I just had you!"

Pool Time with Mom

Anderson went for his first swim on the 4th of July. He didn't completely protest, but wasn't too sure that he really liked it quite yet. Since then, he has been swimming a lot more and has enjoyed it more and more each time.

4th of July Parade

I was in a parade on my first 4th of July. Grandma Pam helped me decorate my stroller.

Bumbo Seat

Grammy Sharon got me a Bumbo seat when I came to visit her. I love it because I can sit up like such a big boy.

Gaby and Anderson Meet

We got to meet John and Sara Ayres' baby girl, Gaby. She was almost the same size as our little peanut and she is 6 weeks younger. Anderson thankfully has grown tremendously since then!

Macy the guard dog

This is a cute picture I took of my babies. I put Anderson in his bouncer while I took a shower and when I got out, Macy was laying down next to him chewing on her bone. Then when she saw me, she sat up and smiled at me! I snapped a picture just at the right time.

New Blog!

Well, I am starting this blog FINALLY because everyone always wants me to email pics of Anderson and I never do, so maybe this will help keep you posted on the Leinwetters. Thanks Hollie for keeping on me about starting it. Mine won't be near as cute as yours, but I will try. :)
