Anderson cuteness!

Anderson is a busy little guy lately and has grown up so much in the past month. He talks non stop. Some of his favorite words are- buddy ("buh-DEE), ball, light, mom (no I can't be mommy or mama, i am just "mom"), dada/dado, more, all done, up (uh), please (pea), no no macy (no, no, may-ee), bye bye, milk (mah). There are a few more I am forgetting but thats the main ones. The rest of his talk is complete nonsense to us, but he knows exactly what he is saying and he means it! He loves to repeat anything we say (good thing we aren't potty mouths) or sounds we make. He LOVES, LOVES, LOVES music and dancing. We had dance party 2008 (Leinwetter style) in our basement last night. Wow, wouldn't you like to have been a fly on the wall for that. :) It was funny to watch Anderson try to mimic our dance moves. Anyway, here are a few pics from the past month. Notice my new carpet in the background! No more green carpet in the basement!!!!!!!!!! And no more yucky carpet upstairs!!!!! I would post pics of the before and after, but I don't have any before pics. :)

Anderson was cuddling up next to Macy. She moved before I snapped the picture, but it was a cute moment.

Anderson trying on Daddy's shoes (wrong feet kiddo!) He loves his daddy lately. He calls him "dada" or "dado". Its the highlight of his day when Lee comes home.

Where are that kids britches??? Despite the examples from the last few pictures, he actually DOES usually have shorts on.

My two boys veggin out on the couch in the basement. Lee's big smile is b/c he is watching his new big screen! He was like a 3 year old at Christmas leaving the store after we bought it. We got it delivered on Thursday just in time for football season of course! Anderson is practicing his telecommunication skills. Something he has become VERY good at. Wonder where he gets it from???

New Carpet, yea!! NO baby name, AHHH!!!

Today we are getting new carpet installed in the house. It looks soooooo good. The guys came this morning and have been working hard. I will post pics when my house is put back together! Yea for new carpet! It makes me so happy! :)

What doesn't make me happy is that we cannot pick a baby name for our little peanut. I am frustrated b/c I can't seem to get excited about having a girl b/c I need a name for her. We are thinking about Kate Elizabeth. This would be her name if she was born tomorrow. Everyone in our families like this name, and we do to, but we aren't set on it yet. With a last name like Leinwetter, its hard to find a name that goes. Lee really likes the name Lauren, and I do too, but it is too much like Laura. So it has been vetoed at least for a first name. We also like the name Blake, but its more popular for a boy name (even though we both like it better for a girl). There are a few others we are indifferent to, (Camden, Madeline, Hannah, can't think of the others) but I would like to find a name that we both really love and that goes with our strange last name. So.... this is my plea to you to help us find a name for our baby! Suggestions please!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe after we get some good suggestions, we will add a name poll to the blog and people can vote on their favorite name. :)

fun times with uncle mit

I had a fun day with aunt Susan and uncle Mit. Uncle Mit showed me his basketball moves and I was totally mesmerized. Mit and Susan's house is the perfect place for me, there are basketballs everywhere! Thanks for taking care of me.

In Loving Memory

Several of you have heard about the accident Lee's cousin was involved in last Wed and I just wanted to say THANK YOU so much for all of your thoughts and prayers. They are needed and appreciated by the family soo much. I don't want to go in to too much detail as it is such a tragic event, but Jason Kanak, Lee's cousin (whom he was very close to) was driving home with his wife, Lisa (who is pregnant and due in 3 weeks), and 4 year old son, Jaren, when they were involoved in a car wreck, killing Jason. It is a miracle that Lisa, their unborn baby girl, and Jaren are still alive. There is no explanation for how they survived. I am sure you can only imagine what Jason's family is going through. Nothing about the situation doesn't just rip my heart apart. It will be a long healing process, especially with the birth of their baby girl, so please continue to keep Jason's family in your prayers.

Here is a link to the article from the paper.
