So, I've been thinking a lot lately about how blessed I am to have such a wonderful little family. I know sometimes I don't always think about how lucky I am, but lately, its just been all I can think about! Lee is out shoveling the snow for our neighbors who are too old to do it themselves. Macy of course is "helping" and so I went out to watch him and take some video of the snow and I almost started crying. I loved watching him out there doing what he loves to do most- help others. He is such a wonderful provider for his family and I know there is nothing in the world he wouldn't do for us. Anyway, enough of the mushy stuff ( I have probably embarrassed him), but I just can't stop thinking about what a wonderful husband, daddy, doctor and friend he is! I hope Anderson learns to be the same way.

Trip to the Caymans!
Lee and I had a wonderful time on our vacation to the Caymans the first week in November. We went with Lee's great friend John and his wife, Sara who also have a baby Anderson's age so it was nice to have someone else there to cope with the separation. Let's just say, nexy vacation may be about 3 days shorter. 7 days is just too long to leave your little one for the first time. Anderson did fine. Me, I was fine until about Thursday. Anyway, the trip was a blast and here are some pics from it. We spent a lot of time at happy hours around the island. My new favorite drink is Cayman Lemonade (kind of like a cherry vodka sour only much much better). We did a lot of snorkeling and saw some really great coral and cool fish. A highlight of the trip was our trip to Stingray City. This is a shallow sandbar in the middle of the ocean where stingrays like to come and sun. We got on a catamaran which took us to the stingrays. What people often misunderstand about stingrays is that they are actually very gentle animals. I might compare them to cats. They love to be pet and rub up against you. Anyway, at Stingray City, we got to pet the rays, hold them and feed them squid. It was soooo cool.

Swinging on the Front Porch
This is the cutest picture of Lee and Anderson that I snapped the other day. Lee got home kind of late and was needing some daddy time so he took Anderson out on the front proch for a swing. I just thought it was such a cute picture. I can imagine them having lots of father-son "front porch" conversations as the years go by.

5 months old
We can't believe Anderson is already 5 months. Here are a few pics from the past few weeks. The video camera is broken so we can't upload videos. We hope to get it fixed soon. It is killing me to not have it. Anderson is sitting up very well now and started eating bananas yesterday. He is working on the crawling as you can see in the picture below however, we are in NO hurry to get into the mobile stage!
