Home Made Ball Pit

For Christmas, our dear friends Josh and Sammie got Anderson a bag of 100 balls (like the ones that they used to have in ball pits). In his eyes, it was the best gift Anderson has ever received. But... What in the world do you do with 100 balls????? After a few days of stepping all over them, getting them out of Macy's mouth and trying to keep them from smacking Adri in the face, we came up with a home made ball pit. Lately Anderson has loved laying down in it and having us cover him up with all of his balls. Lee even rigged up his basketball goal so that Anderson can shoot baskets and the balls fall right back in to the ball pit. Genius!!!!!!!!!

2nd haircut...much better

Well after anderson's first hair cut, I have been doing my best to trim it up at home and save myself from the embarassment of taking him back to my hair stylist and try and hold him down while he throws a royal fit. But yesterday, we took Anderson for another stab at the haircut thing. We went to good old Great Clips this time and he did great! I talked to him about what we were going to do and what would happen and he seemed to take all the action a litte better since he knew what was going on. The lady did a great job with him and let him use the squirt bottle to spray mom and dad which he loved doing. Here are a few pics from the big event.

Happy Valentines Day

We had a great Valentines Day yesterday just hanging out with our friends and spending some quality time together. It was nice! Here are a few pics of the kids from yesterday and a cute shot of Adri chillin out while we were getting ready for chuch this morning. She is becoming quite a little ham and while she is very selective when it comes to flashing her big bright smile, it will melt your heart. She wrinkles up her little nose and her whole face just beams. So sweet!

We are home and surviving!

We were able to go home Monday and were glad to be back in a more comfortable place. Lee's aunt Tandy stayed with us last week to help out with Anderson and keep him occupied while I was needing to give Adrianna my attention. She was a huge help. I was able to take naps and sleep in which I will truly miss getting to do this week. :) Adrianna is doing really well now. She is barely coughing anymore and her congestion and snorting is getting better each day. Here is a little picture of my little peanut from a few days after getting home.

Adri update

We are still occupying room 5135 at St. Francis. :( She is still needing the oxygen and is pretty congested but making small improvements every day. Lee is at the hospital with Adri so I could come home for an hour and be home! Here are a few pics from the hospital.

Thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers. Yesterday was a little rough. The doctor thought she was starting to sound worse instead of better when he rounded on her in the morning so he ordered a chest x-ray. The chest x-ray confirmed that she has pneumonia now. This is where I reached my limit and broke down. How much more can this little one take? How much more can I take? She has been such a trooper through all of this and I know she will make it through this too, but I was hoping that we would get better news. Today she does seem a little better, but its baby steps at this point and thats all we can ask for. They are going to start to ween her off oxygen tomorrow. Hopefully that will go well. Just wanted to keep you all updated. Please keep miss Adri in your prayers.
